What Is a Post-Surgery Checkup?

A post-surgery checkup evaluates recovery after a recent procedure to ensure wounds are healing properly, pain is controlled, and no complications are developing. Early assessment helps detect issues such as infection, bleeding, or delayed healing.

What We Review During Your Checkup:
  • Surgical wound appearance and healing
  • Pain levels and medication use
  • Swelling, redness, or drainage
  • Fever or signs of infection
  • Mobility and activity tolerance
  • Follow-up and recovery instructions

Why Post-Surgery Follow-Up Matters

In-home visits reduce travel and support safe recovery. UrgentCare2Go® helps patients:

  • Identify early signs of infection or complications
  • Optimize pain management
  • Ensure proper wound care
  • Support safe return to daily activities
  • Coordinate surgical follow-up when needed

How to Prepare for Your UrgentCare2Go

Create a Clean and Comfortable Environment:

  • Ensure the area for your UrgentCare2Go service is clean and has sufficient space for our equipment and staff to move around comfortably
  • Please ensure you are ready at the scheduled appointment time

Secure All Pets in an Enclosed Area:

  • Of course, we love pets! However, for the safety and comfort of everyone, please ensure all pets are secured in a separate, enclosed space during the visit
