What Is a Physical Therapy Consultation?

A physical therapy consultation evaluates movement, strength, and functional ability to identify musculoskeletal or neurologic issues affecting daily activities. Early evaluation supports faster recovery and reduces the risk of chronic pain or re-injury.

What We Review During Your Consultation:
  • Pain, stiffness, or limited range of motion
  • Recent injuries, surgeries, or overuse
  • Strength, balance, and mobility concerns
  • Impact on work, sports, or daily activities
  • Previous physical therapy or treatments
  • Need for therapy referral or imaging

Why Physical Therapy Consultation Matters

In-home visits allow comfortable movement assessment in your own environment. UrgentCare2Go® helps patients:

  • Identify causes of pain and mobility limitations
  • Prevent worsening injury or chronic pain
  • Develop safe rehabilitation plans
  • Support recovery after injury or surgery
  • Improve strength, balance, and function

How to Prepare for Your UrgentCare2Go

Create a Clean and Comfortable Environment:

  • Ensure the area for your UrgentCare2Go service is clean and has sufficient space for our equipment and staff to move around comfortably
  • Please ensure you are ready at the scheduled appointment time

Secure All Pets in an Enclosed Area:

  • Of course, we love pets! However, for the safety and comfort of everyone, please ensure all pets are secured in a separate, enclosed space during the visit
