What Is a Pelvic Pain Evaluation?

A pelvic pain evaluation focuses on identifying the cause of discomfort or pain in the lower abdomen or pelvic region. Pelvic pain may be acute or chronic and can involve gynecologic, urologic, gastrointestinal, musculoskeletal, or neurologic conditions.

What We Review During Your Evaluation:
  • Location, intensity, and duration of pelvic pain
  • Menstrual, urinary, bowel, or sexual-related symptoms
  • Fever, nausea, vomiting, or systemic symptoms
  • Recent infections, procedures, or injuries
  • Pregnancy status or reproductive health history
  • Need for imaging, lab testing, or urgent referral

Why Pelvic Pain Evaluation Matters

In-home visits allow early assessment while minimizing discomfort from travel. UrgentCare2Go® helps patients:

  • Identify the cause of pelvic pain
  • Initiate timely treatment to prevent complications
  • Distinguish urgent from non-urgent conditions
  • Reduce chronic pain risk through early care
  • Coordinate gynecologic, urologic, or GI referrals

How to Prepare for Your UrgentCare2Go

Create a Clean and Comfortable Environment:

  • Ensure the area for your UrgentCare2Go service is clean and has sufficient space for our equipment and staff to move around comfortably

Secure All Pets in an Enclosed Area:

  • Of course, we love pets! However, for the safety and comfort of everyone, please ensure all pets are secured in a separate, enclosed space during the visit
