What Is a Medicare Annual Wellness Visit?

A Medicare Annual Wellness Visit is a preventive health appointment covered by Medicare Part B. It is not a physical exam, but rather a structured visit focused on identifying health risks, creating a personalized prevention plan, and coordinating ongoing care.

What We Review During Your Visit:
  • Personal and family medical history
  • Current medications and supplements
  • Preventive screenings and immunizations
  • Cognitive and functional health
  • Fall risk, safety, and lifestyle factors
  • A personalized wellness and prevention plan

Why the Medicare Annual Wellness Visit Is Important

In-home wellness visits remove barriers to preventive care. UrgentCare2Go® helps patients:

  • Detect health risks early
  • Stay up to date on preventive screenings
  • Coordinate care with primary and specialty providers
  • Create a clear plan for long-term health

How to Prepare for Your UrgentCare2Go

Create a Clean and Comfortable Environment:

  • Ensure the area for your UrgentCare2Go service is clean and has sufficient space for our equipment and staff to move around comfortably
  • Please ensure you are ready at the scheduled appointment time

Secure All Pets in an Enclosed Area:

  • Of course, we love pets! However, for the safety and comfort of everyone, please ensure all pets are secured in a separate, enclosed space during the visit

We Accept All Major Insurances

At UrgentCare2Go®, we accept most major insurance plans including Medicare and Texas Medicaid using our billing company DK Physicians PLLC.
