Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

UrgentCare2Go

What vaccines do you offer?

We provide routine adult and pediatric vaccines, including influenza, tetanus, Tdap, MMR, varicella, hepatitis A/B, HPV, meningococcal, pneumococcal, and travel-related immunizations.

How do in-home vaccinations work?

A licensed provider arrives at your home with properly stored vaccines. After a brief health screening, your vaccine is administered safely, followed by post-vaccination monitoring and documentation.

Are vaccinations safe?

Yes. All vaccines are FDA-approved and administered by licensed medical professionals. Vaccines undergo rigorous safety testing before use and continue to be monitored for safety.

Do you offer vaccines for children?

Yes — both in-home and in-clinic visits allow pediatric immunizations for infants, children, and teens.

Can immunizations be provided through telemedicine?

Telemedicine visits are used to review vaccine records, plan your vaccine schedule, and provide pre-vaccination counseling. Actual vaccine administration requires an in-person visit.

Do you offer travel vaccines?

Yes. We provide common travel vaccines and can guide you on destination-specific requirements.

How do I know which vaccines I need?

Your provider reviews your age, medical history, lifestyle, employment, travel plans, and CDC recommendations to determine the appropriate immunizations for you.

Are vaccines covered by insurance?

Many immunizations are fully or partially covered. Coverage varies by vaccine type and insurance plan. Our team helps verify your benefits.

How should I prepare for my vaccination appointment?

Bring your vaccine history, medication list, and insurance card. Wear clothing that allows easy access to the upper arm if receiving an injected vaccine.

How do mobile vaccine appointments compare to clinic visits?

Mobile visits offer privacy and convenience, especially for families or those with limited mobility. Clinic visits provide access to immediate diagnostic support and additional services.

Are my medical records secure?

Yes. All services follow HIPAA standards and maintain strict confidentiality of your vaccination and medical records.

What should I expect after receiving a vaccine?

Mild soreness or low-grade fever is normal. Serious side effects are rare. Providers give detailed aftercare instructions and inform you when follow-up doses are needed.
