What Is an Immobility Consultation?

An immobility evaluation helps determine the causes of limited movement or weakness and recommends interventions to improve mobility and quality of life. During your visit, your provider will:

What We Review During Your Consultation:
  • Overall physical health and medical history
  • Muscle strength, joint mobility, and functional abilities
  • Underlying medical conditions contributing to immobility
  • Recommendations for therapy, home modifications, or further testing
  • Coordination with caregivers or specialists

Why Early Immobility Assessment Matters

In-home visits allow timely evaluation for patients who cannot travel, reducing risk and facilitating faster interventions. UrgentCare2Go® helps patients:

  • Identify causes of limited mobility
  • Receive recommendations for physical therapy or rehabilitation
  • Implement safe home modifications if needed
  • Coordinate follow-up care with healthcare providers
