What Is an Emergency Follow-Up?

Emergency follow-up visits help ensure that your recovery after an urgent or emergent health event is on track. These visits allow clinicians to review treatment plans, check for complications, manage ongoing symptoms, and adjust medications or therapies as needed.

What We Review During Your Follow-Up:
  • Review of emergency visit diagnosis and treatment
  • Monitoring recovery progress and symptom resolution
  • Medication management and adjustments
  • Coordination with specialists or primary care
  • Identification of potential complications or warning signs
  • Guidance on home care, wound care, or therapy
  • Scheduling further tests or imaging if necessary

Why Emergency Follow-Up Matters

Mobile follow-up ensures continuity of care without needing to travel after an emergency. UrgentCare2Go® providers monitor recovery safely at home and address any emerging issues promptly.

  • Verify treatment effectiveness and symptom resolution
  • Identify complications early to prevent readmission
  • Adjust medications and care plans for optimal recovery
  • Coordinate care with specialists or primary care providers
