What Is a Dehydration Consultation?

A dehydration evaluation helps determine the severity of fluid loss and potential underlying causes. During your visit, your provider will:

What We Review During Your Consultation:
  • Symptoms such as dizziness, dry mouth, and low urine output
  • Recent fluid intake and dietary habits
  • Vital signs including blood pressure and heart rate
  • Risk factors such as age, chronic conditions, or medication use
  • Recommendations for oral hydration, IV therapy, or urgent follow-up

Why Early Dehydration Evaluation Matters

In-home evaluations help identify dehydration early, prevent complications, and provide rapid rehydration guidance. UrgentCare2Go® helps patients:

  • Assess severity of fluid loss
  • Identify underlying causes
  • Recommend appropriate hydration or IV therapy
  • Monitor for complications or urgent conditions
