What Is an Arm Pain Evaluation?

An arm pain evaluation helps determine the underlying cause, whether musculoskeletal, nerve-related, or cardiac. During your visit, your provider will:

What We Review During Your Consultation:
  • Onset, location, and severity of pain
  • History of injury, repetitive strain, or trauma
  • Neurological symptoms such as numbness or tingling
  • Cardiac-related symptoms like chest discomfort or shortness of breath
  • Recommendations for imaging, labs, or specialist referral
  • Guidance on treatment, exercises, or pain management

Why Early Evaluation Matters

In-home visits help identify urgent causes of arm pain, including potential cardiac events. UrgentCare2Go® helps patients receive timely assessment and referral.

  • Identify musculoskeletal, neurological, or cardiac causes
  • Determine the need for imaging or specialist consultation
  • Provide symptom monitoring and follow-up guidance
  • Recommend safe exercises and pain management strategies

Is early evaluation important?

Will insurance cover evaluation?

Most major insurance plans are accepted, and staff can assist with coverage verification and self-pay options.

Can children experience arm pain?

Yes, causes in children may include injury, overuse, or growth-related conditions. Evaluation should be tailored to age and cause.

How are follow-up visits managed?

Follow-up may include monitoring pain progression, repeat exams, imaging, or adjustments to therapy and treatment plans.

Are telehealth consultations effective?
