We accept most major insurance plans

What Is an Allergy Consultation?

An allergy consultation helps identify the causes of symptoms such as hives, swelling, respiratory issues, or digestive reactions. During your visit, your provider will:

What We Review During Your Consultation:
  • Symptom history and timeline
  • Exposure to potential allergens including food, medication, or environmental triggers
  • Previous allergic reactions and emergency interventions
  • Diagnostic testing or lab recommendations if indicated
  • Guidance on avoidance strategies and treatment plans

Why Early Allergy Evaluation Matters

In-home evaluations reduce risk and allow rapid intervention for severe reactions. UrgentCare2Go® helps patients:

  • Identify the cause of allergic reactions
  • Determine severity and need for urgent care
  • Receive guidance on medications, including antihistamines or epinephrine
  • Develop strategies to prevent future reactions

How to Prepare for Your UrgentCare2Go

Create a Clean and Comfortable Environment:

  • Ensure the area for your UrgentCare2Go service is clean and has sufficient space for our equipment and staff to move around comfortably
  • Please ensure you are ready at the scheduled appointment time

Secure All Pets in an Enclosed Area:

  • Of course, we love pets! However, for the safety and comfort of everyone, please ensure all pets are secured in a separate, enclosed space during the visit

Symptoms can include hives, itching, swelling, sneezing, nasal congestion, shortness of breath, gastrointestinal discomfort, or anaphylaxis in severe cases.

When should I schedule an allergy consultation?

Consultation is recommended for recurring reactions, severe symptoms, new allergic triggers, or after a reaction that required emergency care.

Can children and adults be evaluated?

Yes, our providers evaluate patients of all ages, tailoring the approach to age, severity, and medical history.

Do I need testing during the consultation?

Allergy testing such as skin prick tests, blood tests, or challenge tests may be recommended depending on your symptoms and medical history.

How does mobile care differ from in-clinic care?

Is the service HIPAA-compliant?

All visits, whether in-home, in-clinic, or virtual, fully comply with HIPAA regulations to protect your medical privacy.

Can I have a virtual allergy consultation?
